None of the cited sources on this page give any clear or solid evidence that the Ottoman Empire actually took part in this battle, no mention of any Ottoman army or Ottoman commander. Furthermore the sources on the page for the event (Capture of Fez 1554) that led to this battle clearly state that the Wattasid sultan bought the withdrawal of the Ottoman troops after four months and then he organised his own army after the Ottomans had left.
