Mykyta (Nick) Nagatkin (Ukrainian: Микита Нагаткін; born 1 April 1996, Odesa) is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, philanthropist and investor. He is the founder of the IT company Digis. He is a member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe Tech list.[1][2]

Early life and education[edit]

Nick Nagatkin was born in Odesa, Ukraine. He graduated from the Odesa National Polytechnic University.[3]

Career[edit]

At the start of his software engineering career Nick Nagatkin worked as a web developer and gradually improved his skills. From September 2013 to April 2014, he was the Software Engineer of Atom-up.[4]

From April 2014 to October 2015, he was the software engineer of TechInsight.[4]

Since August 2015, Nick Nagatkin is the founder of Digis,[5] an international software development company that he established at the age of 19.[6] The company is focused on finding engineering talent to build complex software for product companies and help startups expand internationally.[1] Digis counts 200+ on its staff across a variety of fields including fintech, healthcare and HR.[1] As the founder of Digis, Nick Nagatkin oversees the company's portfolio of clients, which includes well-known companies such as HubSpot, BlaBlaCar, PwC, and others.[3][7]

Since 2020, he is the expert in AI, AR/VR, Blockchain and healthcare fields at Ukrainian Startup Fund.[4][7] In March 2021, Nick Nagatkin became the managing partner of RichelieuV.[4][8]

Since January 2022, Nagatkin is the mentor and lecturer for Strategic Management at Big Money University.[9]

Since March 2023, he is the board member of Scalamandra, a company that offers on-demand teams of skilled Scala engineers to businesses seeking to scale quickly.

Recognition[edit]

Nick Nagatkin earned a spot on Forbes’ 2022 30 Under 30 Europe Tech list[1] and was honored as the CEO of the Year 2023 by WN Media Group UK.[7] Also, he earned to the Tech 40 Under 40 List.[10] In 2024, Nagatkin was recognized as Director of the Year by Business Awards UK.[11][12]

Philanthropic activities[edit]

He is the founder of the Charity Fund of Nagatkin Family. The organization is dedicated to providing support to both civilians and soldiers affected by the war, with a focus on addressing the critical needs of the Ukrainians.
