Should read "bear in mind they may be acting". That's bear as in hold, or keep. coelacan — 07:34, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

D'oh! Thanks for that. John Reaves (talk) 15:30, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Start of log[edit]

{{editprotected}} I fixed this to when the log starts, 7 September 2005, but someone has reverted it back. Please undo. Thanks, Majorly (talk) 17:16, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you don't want to wheel war, which is entirely appropriate, but you don't need the editprotected tag either :D. Remember WP:SILENCE: the onus is on Random to explain what's wrong with the change (I haven't got a clue which is right, so don't look at me!), otherwise there's nothing wrong with you restoring it IMO. Happymelon 17:39, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I cannot restore it, someone else will have to. Anyway, doesn't matter. Majorly (talk) 18:24, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've changed it to "This log contains accounts created from September 2005 onward." I don't see any evidence that the log was more accurate starting in June 2006. I've been looking at the log, and it looks like there are just as many names from April and May 2006 as there are from June 2006. --Bongwarrior (talk) 05:51, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Define link target[edit]

Please Define the link target in [[WP:ROLE|role accounts]] to [[Wikipedia:Sock puppetry#ROLE|role accounts]] no need to send that to a redirect. Mlpearc (open channel) 23:59, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Typo fix[edit]

There's a typo in the description of the new user log page: "Please contact an oversighter rahter" should be "rather". Could someone with edit rights fix this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Myoglobin (talkcontribs) 01:32, 7 March 2016‎ (UTC)[reply]

Real names[edit]

Impersonation of a non-notable person is also a violation. Policy says "specific, identifiable person", not "notable living person". Peter James (talk) 22:56, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
