iPad kid

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term iPad kid is used in the United States and some other countries in the anglosphere to describe young children, born during or after the early 2010s, normally in the time-span of the Generation Alpha who spent many of their early formative years watching and interacting with tablets and are presumably addicted to their devices,[1][2][3][4][5] often depicted as watching brainrot content. This term is specifically used for people on their iPad, not phones or laptops. A 2017 study concluded that at least 80 percent of young children had access to a portable device.[6]
