Fariman (Persian: فريمان; also Romanized as Farīmān; also known as Farīmūn)[3] is a city in the Central District of Fariman County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 32,610 in 8,203 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 36,550 people in 10,254 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 39,515 people in 11,755 households.[2]
