Faramush Jan (Persian: فراموشجان, also Romanized as Farāmūsh Jān and Faramoosh Jan)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Chenarud-e Shomali Rural District[4] of Chenarud District, Chadegan County, Isfahan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 921 in 254 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,086 people in 257 households.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 991 people in 285 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
