Jandi Shapur (Persian: جندی شاپور), formerly Eslamabad (اسلام اباد), also Romanized as Eslāmābād,[3] is a city in Choghamish District of Dezful County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 4,939 in 990 households, as the village of Eslamabad in Choghamish Rural District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 5,410 people in 1,354 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,298 people in 1,468 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

After the census, the village was elevated to the status of a city and was renamed Jandi Shapur.[6]
