I propose to merge Qaunaq_Mikkigak into Qaunak_Mikkigak. I think that the content in the Qaunaq Mikkigak article can easily be explained in the context of Qaunak Mikkigak, and the Qaunak Mikkigak article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Qaunaq Mikkigak will not cause any problems as for as article size is concerned.
Support merger, but with a question. I have noticed these two articles in the past, but at a time when they were written so differently from each other that it was not inherently obvious that they actually referred to the same person rather than two different people with similar names. If we've now established that they are indeed the same person, then the articles should be merged. But, the question is: if "Qaunaq" is the correct and desired spelling that should be retained in the merged article, then why would we merge from Qaunaq to Qaunak instead of vice versa? Support merge (same person) with the better target being that supported by the references: Qaunaq Mikkigak. Klbrain (talk) 14:15, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
