State Route 812 (SR 812) is a 0.48-mile-long (0.77 km) state highway that runs between Purcellville and Hillsboro, Loudoun County, Virginia. The route has a total of three intersections and is a connection between SR 9 (Charlestown Pike) and SR 690 (Hillsboro Road). This route is the only one to provide access to SR 718 (Ashbury Church Road) apart from Hillsboro Road. This route is also called Gaver Mill Road.

Route description[edit]

The northern terminus is at the intersection with SR 9 (Charlestown Pike] in Hillsboro.[1] From here, the road goes in a southward direction. The route is home to numerous homes and access points for farms and other pieces of private property. In the middle of the route, 0.21 miles (0.34 km) south of the northern terminus, there is an intersection with SR 718 (Ashbury Church Road) in the city limits of Hillsboro. This and the intersection with SRR 690 a few miles south are the only ways to enter SR 718. Here, the road takes a sharp curve to go into a southeasterly direction. At the intersection is the only point where SR 812 crosses the North Fork Catoctin Creek. The route ends at its southern terminus where it meets up with SR 690.[2]

Intersections[edit]

The entire route is in Loudoun County.
