Studiocomix Press Limited, commonly known as Studiocomix, is a Canadian publisher of Comic Books and Graphic Novels.
Founded in 2001 by Alfonso Espinos, Studiocomix has published over 50 titles (most notably The Night Spike) in both English and Spanish, in Canada and Mexico.[1]

Alfonso Espinos began his career in the comic book industry in Mexico City in 1995. In 2001, along with fellow creator Alfredo Galvan, he founded Camelot Studio. Camelot would be dedicated to representing the best of independent Mexican comic book artists, and that same year Camelot's first imprint, Studiocomix (stylized as Studio.com.ix) was born.
Studiocomix would publish several works, but its most notable at launch (and to this day) is The Night Spike. Originally published as "La Pua Nocturna" in Mexico, this series would see its initial distribution in Mexican Comic Cons, where it quickly sold out its initial print runs.
In 2006, Alfonso Espinos would relocate to Canada, where he continued the Studiocomix brand as a now Canadian publisher of independent comic books. Until the founding of Lucha Comics in 2014, Espinos was the only Mexican founder of a Canadian Comic Book Publisher. His expertise developed abroad, along with a network of international artists, allowed him to replicate the titles and success of Studiocomix in Canada, which was featured in the documentary film, Heroes Manufactured [2].
