History[edit]

The Rosses Community School was founded in 1973 with the amalgamation of the High School in Dungloe and the Vocational School in Loughanure. In 1978 the new Rosses Community School building on the Chapel Road in Dungloe was officially opened by Ray McSharry TD.[2]
