Michael Rose (born July 19, 1959) is an American actor known for roles in film and television. Rose was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He majored in Economics and Theatre at the University of Georgia and trained with William Esper and Maggie Flanigan at the William Esper Studio in New York.

Over his career, Rose has appeared in over 30 films. Notable among these are his roles in the upcoming The Great Lillian Hall directed by Michael Cristofer and starring Jessica Lange (set for 2024 release),[1] the thriller A Dark Place (2019) with Andrew Scott,[2] the historical drama The 24th (2020),[3] and supporting roles in Ride Along 2,[4] and Unthinkable (2010).[5]

In television, Rose has appeared in over 40 television shows in both recurring and guest star roles. He is known for his portrayals of Carl Rogers, a corrupt investor in Bosch: Legacy,[6][7] FBI Agent Bennett on Necessary Roughness, DA Justin Ramer on Nashville, and venture capitalist Stuart Anderson on House of Lies. His guest appearances include roles in Lovecraft Country, Loki, Westworld, and Mad Men.
