Since the difference between Christian critics and secular critics is often very unclear in the context of western countries, here is a suggestion for a header that more clearly specifies the distinction.
"This category is only meant for Christian religious leaders and Christian religious workers and for people using Christian theological arguments with criticism of Islam. All other should instead be placed in Category:Secular critics of IslamCategory:Critics of Islam."
Support proposition by @Marcocapelle. "Christian" here refers to the nature of the criticism, not the private beliefs of the person who is considered a critic. This category should be reserved to religious leaders who have been involved in theological debate on the issue. Note that this view is consistent with the consensus of this recent discussion to purge these categories of cases for whom criticism of Islam is not WP:DEFINING.Place Clichy (talk) 08:04, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support. This is a reasonable categorisation, although I'm not sure if 'Christian theological arguments' are always easy to detect and the arbitration of whether an argument is Christian-theological or not can be done by Wikipedians or need to be done by reliable sources. Support, but a better solution would be to upmerge the entire category to Critics of Islam. Jayjg(talk) 12:27, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support (Jayjg's proposal) - to be honest I don't think this category is needed at all, but since there was a concencus to keep I will suport purging it. I would recomend merging to Category:Critics of Islam rather than Category:Secular critics of Islam as most of the articles in this category being discussed have no relationship to secularism. Support although I almost think only the 3rd stipulation should be included.John Pack Lambert (talk) 14:26, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support. This will help to keep out e.g. Paul Golding who has staged what he called "Christian patrols" in multi-cultural areas; he has little in common with the other members of the category. – FayenaticLondon 21:24, 8 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
