Deutsch: 50 Pfennig Notgeldschein der Stadt Potsdam vom 28. November 1921, RS: Darstellung eines Infanteristen des 1. Garde-Regimentes zu Fuß in Potsdam. Die Darstellung ist als eine Verhöhnung des Militarismus im Kaiserreich zu verstehen, deshalb ist das Regiment mit seinem wenig schmeichelhaften Spitznamen „Heufresser“ bezeichnet, Maße: 96 mm x 65 mm.
English: 50 Pfennig Notgeld banknote issued by the town of Potsdam, Nov. 28, 1921, RV: an infantryman of the 1st Foot Guards Regiment. The banknote has to be considered as a mockery of the militarism in the German Empire, as the regiment is titled with its derogatory nickname "Heufresser" (hay gobblers), size: 96 mm x 65 mm. |
