Español: Madrid Central entra en vigor. Manuela Carmena ha visitado esta mañana la nueva zona de bajas emisiones noviembre. Se observa una reducción muy significativa del tráfico durante la hora punta en toda la zona de Madrid Central con disminuciones generalizadas de entre el 10% y el 45% así como una mejoría del servicio de la EMT. El Ayuntamiento ha mantenido contactos con asociaciones vecinales, comerciantes, administraciones y asociaciones profesionales para dar a conocer Madrid Central y recoger sugerencias. 30/11/2018. Madrid Central ya está en vigor. Este 30 de noviembre, a las 00.00, ha arrancado esta zona de bajas emisiones, incluida en el Plan de Calidad del Aire y Cambio Climático, con el objetivo de reducir la contaminación, el ruido y mejorar el reparto del espacio público. Hoy la alcaldesa de Madrid, Manuela Carmena, la delegada de Medio Ambiente y Movilidad, Inés Sabanés, el delegado de Desarrollo Urbano Sostenible, José Manuel Calvo y el delegado de Economía y Hacienda y distrito Centro, Jorge García Castaño, han presentado la entrada en vigor de Madrid Central y han realizado un recorrido desde la Plaza de Callao hasta la Plaza de Pedro Zerolo bajando por la Gran Vía.
